Naturally good for you!

Well I have the deodorant up and for sale in our Simply Good Stuff Zibbet and Etsy shops! We made a sale on the first day! Yayyyy! It was purchased in Denmark, which I really didn't expect...$6 product with a $15 shipping rate??? Who does that? Turns out it is someone in the cosmetics industry, who is interested in purchasing wholesale? I'm really not too sure about it, and told her so. However, I agreed to discuss it. Any thoughts or advice? It may turn into nothing... she is trying one out to see if it interests her, but just in case what do you think?

This is really great deodorant, I use it every day and I'm not stinky, honest! It makes me feel good to know I'm not adding any unnecessary chemicals to my body, and I'm not using an anti-perspiration product. I want to perspire, it is good to let my body do its job removing impurities from my system. I'm a moderately active person, doing gardening & yard work, housework, canning etc. so I do break a sweat occasionally. Lol

Here is a little peek at our deodorant, there will be a container change. I've decided to go with a PET low profile jar, it will be better for shipping.(picture of the new jar below) The container's are on the way!



More good news the window bags have arrived! The laundry soap, dishwasher soap, and carpet deodorizers will go into these!



Random Recipe
This a a fabulous recipe (from Allrecipe.com) for using up the endless supply of squash (if your husband planted 5 yellow squash plants, like mine did!) I'm not a squash person; I've always called it squish, with a kind of ewwwwwww...sound! This recipe is pretty good though, I've actually made it twice this summer, and ate it! Give it a try, and tell me what you think.




Yellow Squash Casserole

4 cups sliced yellow squash
1/2 cup chopped onion
35 buttery round crackers, crushed
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
ground black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter
Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Place squash and onion in a large skillet over medium heat. Pour in a small amount of water. Cover, and cook until squash is tender, about 5 minutes. Drain well, and place in a large bowl.
In a medium bowl, mix together cracker crumbs and cheese. Stir half of the cracker mixture into the cooked squash and onions. In a small bowl, mix together eggs and milk, then add to squash mixture. Stir in 1/4 cup melted butter, and season with salt and pepper. Spread into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cracker mixture, and dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until lightly browned.
